Job summary

Neptune Technology Group Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (BI) to join the Enterprise Applications & Data team in Tallassee.

You will analyze, design, and implement data sourcing (ETL), report building, and data governance practices to support business goals. Responsibilities include ETL development with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI, plus collaboration with Product Owners to deliver reliable data pipelines and dashboards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
Power BI Certification required.
Azure Certification (Database, AI/ML) preferred.
Any Cloud DB Certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and implement ETL solutions using enterprise applications.
Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for on-premises and hybrid environments.
Build and optimize PowerBI reports, dashboards, and data models.
Collaborate with Product Owners to translate requirements into data pipelines and dashboards.
Perform data analysis, profiling, and troubleshooting to ensure data quality.
Support QA/UAT activities for PowerBI solutions.
Participate in agile ceremonies and stay updated on data integration trends.
