Strategic Business Solutions in Portland, Oregon is seeking an experienced BI Reporting & Data Analytics Analyst to support a large-scale reporting modernization and migration initiative.

The role focuses on building, testing, validating, revising, and migrating 50+ BI reports within Microsoft data environments, working closely with business, engineering, and architecture teams to ensure accurate, production-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BI reporting, testing, and validation.
• Experience building and migrating enterprise reports.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to read existing queries.
• Experience with Azure SQL and Synapse environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, revise, and update BI reports.
• Test reports prior to production deployment and validate outputs.
• Support migration and modernization of 50+ reports.
• Collaborate with owners and business users to understand needs.
• Read and validate SQL queries used for reporting.
• Work with Azure SQL environments and Synapse endpoints.
• Validate migrated outputs against legacy data.
• Assist with requirements clarification and translation to outputs.
• Ensure reporting outputs are production-ready through testing.
• Gather information from stakeholders to move deliverables forward.
