Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a BI ETL Developer III in Charlotte, NC, to design, develop, and support data integration jobs across Teradata, Redshift, and Oracle. You will monitor 24x7 production loads, manage incidents and changes, and mentor junior team members as SME.

You will work with Python, SQL, Unix scripting and AWS to build scalable data pipelines, with hybrid work arrangements available. The ideal candidate has strong BI/ETL, data warehousing, and orchestration experience.

Qualifications

7 years of production operations including 24x7 batch load monitoring, incident management, change management, and break-fix patch development.
Designing, developing and troubleshooting complex SQL processes and stored procedures for data marts (Teradata, Redshift, Oracle).
5 years of workflow orchestration design, scheduling, monitoring using Automic Automation, Airflow, or Tivoli; deployment across environments with Git/Bitbucket.
2 years of AWS usage (EC2, Redshift, S3) to design, build, and manage data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and support new and existing data integration jobs.
Lead and mentor junior team members as SME and provide expert data guidance.
Monitor production operations, load monitoring, incident management, and change management.
Collaborate with partners to gather requirements and translate to technical specs for the team.
Optimize performance and manage cross-system impacts of changes.
