Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Developer to design and optimize data integration solutions. You will work with Oracle, SQL, and big data tools to build robust data pipelines and data warehouses for business intelligence.

Required is a minimum of 10 years in ETL/BI, proficiency with Spark, Hadoop ecosystem basics, and experience with Autosys or similar job schedulers.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in ETL and data warehousing.
Strong SQL/PLSQL and Oracle background.
Experience with ETL tools like Informatica.
Knowledge of data modeling and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

Deep understanding of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Oozie.
Experience with Spark, Kafka, NoSQL databases.
Experience in Agile Methodology.
SQL Proficiency: Utilize SQL/PLSQL to extract, transform, and load data.
Data Warehouse Design: Design and maintain data warehouses to support BI activities.
Performance Optimization: Optimize SQL scripts and queries for speed and efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in ETL processes.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes.
Testing: Perform unit, integration, and system testing on ETL processes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of ETL processes.
Data Quality: Ensure data quality by implementing data cleansing and transformation processes.
Data Modeling: Develop and maintain relational and dimensional data models.
