Job summary

KLDiscovery is seeking a senior BI Developer to own the end-to-end data pipeline powering our monthly billing cycle. You will optimize SQL Server, SSIS, and Python-based automation while ensuring data quality and reliability across finance workflows.

In this remote-first role, you will collaborate with operations, finance, and analytics stakeholders to deliver auditable, scalable solutions. Strong SQL Server, SSIS, Python, and R expertise are required, with experience in data modeling and ERP

Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience as a BI Developer, Data Developer, Data Engineer, or similar.
Strong SQL Server / T-SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Practical experience with SSIS for ETL development.
Proficiency in Python for data work and automation (pandas, pyodbc, REST APIs).
R for data analysis and modeling; solid data modeling principles.

Responsibilities

Build and tune the data pipeline using SQL Server and SSIS.
Automate data movement and validation with Python services and scheduled jobs.
Design validation and edit-check frameworks to ensure data quality.
Analyze data with R and Python for anomaly detection and modeling.
Support internal reporting and data-quality tooling used by billing and operations.
Follow coding standards, write maintainable code, and review changes.
