Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive data-informed decisions across our digital supply chain. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, and modern data stacks.

Role requires 5+ years in BI/Data Engineering, strong SQL and Python, and experience with GCP. This hybrid role expects presence in the Temple/Austin area and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions, dashboards, and data models.
• Transform complex data to actionable insights using Looker, Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Alteryx and Fabric.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting strategies.
• Leverage GCP to support data architecture, performance, and governance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and best practices across reporting environments.
• Drive continuous improvement in BI development, automation, and user experience.
