Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for ShipTech Analytics in Bellevue, WA to design scalable ETL pipelines and metrics for the global transportation network using AWS big data tools. You will partner with operations and analytics teams, own data quality, build reporting tools, and contribute to AI-powered automation to deliver actionable insights.

5+ years in BI/ETL, SQL, Python, and large-data processing are preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in BI/ETL/data analysis
5+ years of SQL experience
4+ years processing large multi-TB datasets
1+ years of statistical analysis
Experience in data extraction, transformation and loading, and Oracle
Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate data into insights

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable ETL and metrics for Amazon's global transportation network
Develop data reporting tools to streamline business processes
Partner with operations and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver insights
Own data quality and improve datasets for operational excellence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize analytics capabilities
Leverage AWS big-data tools to convert raw data into actionable metrics
Drive code reviews, design discussions, and best practices
Work with senior engineers to scale data services and build new ones
