Job summary

Emovis is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to design and implement BI platforms and reports, partnering with SMEs to deliver dashboards, scorecards, and QA reports. The role focuses on automating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and producing executive-level insights for strategic decision-making.

The position requires strong SQL, Power BI, Excel, and ETL skills, with experience in Python and Databricks and familiarity with cloud/on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Statistics, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting.
• Relational databases and SQL proficiency.
• PowerBI proficiency.
• Understanding of API integrations, ETL processes.
• Experience with large datasets and operational reporting.
• Hands-on with near real-time data platforms and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Python and REST APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premises environments.
• 5+ years' experience with database and SQL.
• 4+ years' experience with Excel and reporting tools.
• 2+ years’ experience with data and analysis.
• 2+ years’ experience with PowerBI.
• 2+ years’ experience with Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BI platform and reports for CTIO and Emovis projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to define reports (dashboards, scorecards, QA reports).
• Create, automate and deploy data pipelines to enrich reporting.
• Evaluate operations workflows for accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness; coordinate improvements.
• Document business processes and SOPs.
• Maintain knowledge of systems and tools used in operations.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and automated data solutions.
• Create data validation and quality assurance for reporting accuracy.
• Produce executive-level reporting and visualizations for decision-making.
• Ensure data governance, confidentiality, and security standards.
• Collaborate with client departments as appropriate.
• Assist the customer with query and dashboard development.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
