Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior BI Developer to expand capacity on long-term client work. You will build data products using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure, delivering lakehouses, semantic models, reports and AI-driven outputs.

You report to a Tech Lead, collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders, estimate effort and document decisions to ensure reliable production delivery within an agile framework.

Qualifications

• At least four years of BI or data-platform development with client interaction.
• Strong Azure data-platform experience including Fabric, Data Factory or Synapse.
• Power BI expertise with semantic modeling, DAX and report development.
• Strong SQL and dimensional data-modeling skills; ETL/ELT patterns.
• Experience delivering in agile teams with structured stories and sprints.
• Git and a collaborative development workflow; Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; ability to discuss technical topics with clients.
• Daily use of AI tools to improve quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain BI and data products in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure.
• Deliver lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, notebooks and reports.
• Develop semantic models, reports and DAX calculations for clients.
• Translate business needs into technical stories and delivery steps.
• Discuss technical topics directly with client IT and business stakeholders.
• Work in structured agile delivery; estimate work and manage stories.
• Use AI tools to improve development, analysis, documentation and QA.
• Prototype AI-driven data products and automate client data workflows.
• Ensure production-ready deployment with version control and best practices.
