Job summary

Cornerstone Research is seeking a Senior Developer, BI Reporting (Aderant Developer) for a hybrid role serving US offices from LA to SF. You will lead reporting initiatives, design and maintain advanced reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL Server, data warehouses, and Aderant applications.

The role emphasizes translating business requirements into technical specs, optimizing data models, and delivering high-quality executive reports to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• +8+ years of experience in IT or financial systems reporting.
• +8+ years of SQL and T-SQL programming.
• +5+ years of experience with Aderant and related applications.
• +3+ years of Power BI development and administration.
• +5+ years of experience with Datawarehouse technologies.
• +3+ years translating company financial data into executive-level reports and KPIs.
• Advanced MS Excel with macro development and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination.
• Professional credential or certification in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards and reports using data from Aderant and other enterprise systems.
• Translates business requirements into technical specifications and reporting solutions.
• Optimizes data models and DAX queries for performance and usability.
• Documents report logic, data flows, and provides user support as needed.
• Maintains data integration between systems and structuring data for the data warehouse.
• Collaborates with Finance and IT Reporting teams to support reporting strategy.
• Participates in month-end close, reporting and balancing processes.
