Job summary

E-volve Technology Systems, Reston, VA, seeks a Business Analytics & Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of 5–6 data analysts and software engineers in delivering BI, data warehousing, and analytics for a mission-critical intelligence community customer. This role requires on-site support and an active TS/SCI CI Poly.

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting, dashboards, and data solutions using Tableau, Business Objects, and IBM DataStage ETL, with strong SQL/PL-SQL

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• CI Polygraph or ability to obtain one
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise software applications
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL development
• Experience with Oracle Database, MariaDB, or comparable relational database platforms
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Tableau, Business Objects, or similar BI tools
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments and ETL processes
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing technical documentation and supporting software testing activities

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and tasking to team of 5-6 developers; leadership in design, testing and customer requirements
• Report weekly, monthly and quarterly team status to Deputy Program Manager
• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions supporting enterprise financial and acquisition systems
• Develop, enhance, and support reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Tableau, Business Objects, or comparable BI platforms
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Support enterprise data warehouse operations, ETL processes, and data integration using IBM DataStage or comparable technologies
• Analyze complex requirements and translate into scalable software solutions
• Troubleshoot application, interface, database, and data quality issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
• Provide on-site technical support to government users and senior leadership
• Support financial system interfaces and transaction processing to ensure data integrity
• Participate in software releases with testing and deployment
• Recommend and implement process improvements for performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and technical teams to deliver capabilities
