Job summary

E-volve Technology Systems is seeking an experienced BI and Data Analytics Software Engineer Lead to support a mission-critical Intelligence Community customer in Reston, VA. You will lead a team of 5-6 developers, design and implement enterprise BI solutions, and ensure data quality for financial and acquisition systems.

Responsibilities include building dashboards in Tableau/BO, optimizing SQL/PLSQL, and supporting ETL workflows with IBM DataStage, while working closely with government

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and active TS/SCI clearance.
• Current CI Polygraph or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise software applications.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with Oracle Database or MariaDB.
• Experience creating reports/dashboards with Tableau or Business Objects.
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse environments and ETL.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Experience developing technical documentation and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of 5-6 developers.
• Report weekly, monthly and quarterly team status.
• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions for financial and acquisition systems.
• Develop and support reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and database objects.
• Support ETL processes and data integration using IBM DataStage.
• Analyze requirements and translate into scalable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable system performance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site technical support to government users and leadership.
• Support interfaces and transaction processing for data integrity.
• Participate in releases with testing and deployments.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance performance.
• Develop technical documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
