NorthHill Technology is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Lead for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics to support a mission-critical Intelligence Community customer in Reston, VA. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise BI solutions and data analytics to enable financial and acquisition decision-making.

Qualifications

Lead a team of 5-6 data analysts and software engineers in a government/contractor setting.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and tasking to a team of 5-6 developers; participate in design, test and requirements
Report weekly, monthly and quarterly team status to Deputy Program Manager.
Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions supporting enterprise financial and acquisition systems.
Develop and optimize reports and dashboards using BI platforms.
Support ETL processes and data integration with DataStage or similar tools.
Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
Troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable system performance and data quality.
Provide on-site technical support to government users and leadership.
Assist in software releases and production deployments.
Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
