Job summary

RSM is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence and Data Engineering professional in Chicago to design data models, build scalable ETL pipelines, and develop semantic models and reports. You will collaborate with the Data Analytics team to support data-driven business outcomes.

The role emphasizes SQL, Python/Scala, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and BI visualization tools; travel to client sites may be required. Hybrid work arrangement with strong client engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing data models across multiple subject areas and business domains.
• 5+ years designing and developing BI solutions.
• 5+ years of scalable ETL pipelines ingesting from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain data models (dimensional and 3NF) aligned with business requirements.
• Design and develop ETL pipelines consolidating data into a unified data platform.
• Develop Semantic Models and Reports / Dashboards.
• Facilitate requirements sessions and perform data analysis to identify data needs.
• Collaborate with clients and team members across regions.
