Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support the expansion of value-based programs, working with providers to drive success on the Service Fund team. You will help develop, implement and value new programs and maintain existing ones.

You will use SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Excel to build reports, analyze monthly activity, and inform leadership on program performance and opportunities. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of data analysis experience or Master's with 3+ years
• 2+ years of advanced experience developing complex SQL queries
• 1+ years of Healthcare data experience (Provider, Insurance, etc.)
• Excel experience with PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience handling big, complex data sets in large organizations
• Experience communicating with senior and executive leadership

Responsibilities

• Utilizes SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other skills to drive process improvement and manage value-based relationships
• Produces monthly activity reports and interprets data implications for programs
• Produces reports and handles ad hoc requests using Excel, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other tools
• Supports payments to value-based specialists
• Assists in evaluating new value-based program opportunities
