Job summary

Brady Corporation in Milwaukee is seeking a Lead BI Developer to transform business needs into powerful reporting and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations to design, develop, and deploy enterprise reporting and visualization applications, guiding the technical direction and ensuring scalability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in BI, strong SQL, and expertise in Power BI or QlikView/Qlik Sense, plus the ability to mentor teammates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on BI reporting, visualization design, data modeling, and end-to-end dashboard implementation.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, Service administration) OR QlikView/Qlik Sense (Load Scripting, QVD generation, Set Analysis, QMC).

Responsibilities

• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to design scalable reporting models and visualizations.
• Design, develop, and maintain semantic models, data layers, and reporting architectures.
• Develop and optimize data transformation scripts and implement data security (RLS/Section Access).
• Provide production support and troubleshoot data bottlenecks and refresh issues.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers; participate in Scrum with Jira stories.
