New York Technology Partners seeks a Senior BI Architect to own governance for Tableau and ThoughtSpot across multiple environments. You will manage site/workspace administration, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards to establish a single source of truth for reporting.

Responsibilities include defining standards for data sources and semantic models, leading metadata management, data lineage initiatives, and enforcing data quality rules.

Qualificações

• Senior BI Architect with Tableau and ThoughtSpot experience.
• Experience governance owner for Tableau and ThoughtSpot.
• Experience managing site/workspace administration, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards.
• Experience defining standards for certified data sources, semantic models, and governed data extracts.
• Experience partnering with data engineering and platform teams to align governance controls with upstream data pipelines, data warehouses/lakehouses, and cataloging tools.
• Experience establishing data quality rules, validation checks, and issue-resolution workflows.
• Experience managing RBAC, row-level security, and data classification (PII/PHI/confidential).
• Experience leading metadata management and data lineage initiatives.

Role Overview

Serve as the governance owner for Tableau and ThoughtSpot: manage site/workspace administration, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards across both platforms. Define and enforce standards for certified data sources, semantic models, and governed data extracts to ensure a single source of truth for reporting.

Technical Core & Responsibilities

Governance & Administration

• Serve as the governance owner for Tableau and ThoughtSpot
• Manage site/workspace administration, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards across both platforms
• Define and enforce standards for certified data sources, semantic models, and governed data extracts (Tableau data sources, ThoughtSpot worksheets/Liveboards)

Data Quality & Lineage

• Establish and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and issue-resolution workflows
• Track and report on data quality KPIs
• Lead metadata management and data lineage initiatives, ensuring dashboards and reports are traceable back to their source systems

Security & Access Control

• Manage role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security, and data classification (PII/PHI/confidential) across Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and connected data sources
• Partner with data engineering and platform teams to align governance controls with upstream data pipelines, data warehouses/lakehouses, and cataloging tools

• Hybrid in Beverly Hills, CA – 3-4 days onsite
• Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot experience required
• Data Governance, RBAC, and metadata management experience required
