Job summary

University of Louisville seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst III to develop and support reporting for the enterprise data warehouse and other sources. You will gather requirements, build data marts and reports, and deliver dashboards across campus.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, Power BI, and communication skills, with experience in MS SQL Server, SSRS/SSIS/SSMS, and PowerShell. The role involves coordinating across teams and training users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CIS/Math/Technical area and four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 – Outlook and Excel and demonstrated AI experience.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and lead small projects including change management.
• Proficient with SQL including query building and tuning. Experience with enterprise reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Elicit data requirements for data marts, reports, and applications.
• Build and publish data marts, reports, and visualizations.
• Facilitate development of data definitions and metadata documentation.
• Coordinate distributed application development efforts to support specialized needs across campus.
• Maintain existing reports and visualizations.
• Organize reports and train users on reporting tools.
