Job summary

University of Louisville Health Sciences Center is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst IV to join the BI and Analytics team. The role focuses on financial reporting, GL concepts, and enterprise dashboards supporting budgeting, payroll, and executive decision‑making.

The candidate will maintain Power BI reports, mappings, and models, collaborating with Finance, IT, and HR to deliver timely, accurate insights across UL and UL Physicians reporting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with financial reporting concepts, general ledger structures, and accounting rules.
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data mapping for enterprise reporting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, financial reports, scorecards, and analytics.
• Refresh Power BI datasets, troubleshoot refresh issues, ensure reliable reporting applications.
• Maintain enterprise financial reporting applications and data mappings across UL and UL Physicians.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Payroll, and other departments on reporting needs.
• Validate data against source systems and conduct ad hoc analyses for budgeting and forecasting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, fiscal year‑end, and annual budget reporting activities.
