Job summary

Insperity is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Houston to design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions. You will partner with business leaders and data owners to translate requirements into actionable insights, connect Tableau to trusted data sources, and optimize performance for timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Analytics or 4 years of related work experience.
• 3–5 years in BI, data analytics, Tableau development.
• Knowledge of Tableau dashboards and BI best practices.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
• Ability to translate business needs into dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and visual analytics.
• Collaborate with executives, analysts, data owners, and teams to define success measures and deliver insights.
• Connect Tableau to approved data sources, build data models, and prepare data structures for reporting.
• Develop Tableau Prep flows, calculated fields, and dashboard logic to improve automation and efficiency.
• Validate data accuracy by reviewing source data and reconciling dashboard results.
• Publish, schedule, and govern Tableau content per governance and security standards.
• Document dashboard requirements, data definitions, and maintenance procedures.
• Provide ongoing support to dashboard users and gather feedback for enhancements.
• Monitor dashboard usage to identify improvements and reduce manual work.
