Job summary

University of Louisville is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III to support reporting for the enterprise data warehouse and related data sources. You will gather requirements, develop data, BI reports, and visualizations to meet campus needs with minimal supervision.

You will work with a wide range of users, communicate clearly, and lead small projects including change management while delivering timely, accurate insights. Strong SQL and PowerBI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CIS/Math/Technical area and 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 - Outlook and Excel and demonstrated AI experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to lead small projects and work in a team environment including change management.
• Proficient with SQL including query building and tuning; experience with enterprise reporting systems.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS, PowerBI, and PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Elicit data requirements for data marts, reports, and applications.
• Build and publish data marts, reports, and visualizations.
• Facilitate development of data definitions and metadata documentation.
• Coordinate distributed application development efforts across campus.
• Maintain existing reports and visualizations.
• Organize reports and train users on reporting tools.
