Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to design and optimize data models, build dashboards, and deliver analytics to enable informed decision‑making in a fast‑paced retail environment.

You will work with SQL, Tableau, and SAP tools while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate reporting and scalable data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years in IT development, front end reporting, analytics, or related experience.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise front-end reporting & dashboards.
• 3+ years architecting data models, dimensional schemas (star/snowflake), and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience with SQL and advanced DB concepts; Tableau Desktop/Server/Prep; SAP HANA Studio & SAP BO; Oracle, SQL Server, GCP.
• Experience supporting retail or enterprise operations analytics; programming with Java, Python, or R.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient data models and SQL queries to support front-end reporting and visualization.
• Deliver accurate, on-time solutions to stakeholders throughout the year.
• Create and update process documentation and playbooks for maintenance of solutions.
• Support ad-hoc and non-project-based requests.
• Support testing of enterprise system changes and implementations.
