Job summary

HealthEdge is seeking a self-directed BI Analyst to own end-to-end dashboard design and delivery in Tableau and AmazonQuickSight. You will partner with stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights and deliver polished dashboards for executive and operational use.

The role involves collaborating with onshore and offshore data engineers, building analytics-ready sources, and ensuring dashboards are usable, fast, and well-documented. Strong UX and data visualization focus required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building production BI dashboards in Tableau, AmazonQuickSight, Power BI, Looker, or comparable modern BI tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to design clean, usable dashboards with strong visual hierarchy and clear point of view.
• Proficiency in SQL — writing queries to explore data, prototype, validate dashboards, and prepare datasets.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse concepts: dimensional modeling, joins, granularity, Slowly Changing Dimensions.
• Strong ownership and self-direction with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; translate business questions into dashboards for non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative, analytical, design, or business field.

Responsibilities

• Build, publish, and maintain Tableau and AmazonQuickSight dashboards for internal HealthEdge audiences.
• Translate business questions into well-modeled QuickSight datasets and Tableau data sources.
• Apply strong visual design principles for usable dashboards with clear hierarchy and accessible typography.
• Optimize dashboard performance and manage refresh schedules across platforms.
• Maintain a clean portfolio of published assets across BI platforms and retire stale content.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand decisions and craft clear narratives and recommendations.
