Job summary

American Fruits and Flavors in California is seeking a Senior Beverage Scientist to lead product development, from concept to prototype, including juice concentrates and flavors. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve products including Juice Concentrates and Flavors based on customer or in-house requirements with minimal direction.
• Provide supervision to R&D Product Development Chemists and Lab Technicians.
• Perform cost analysis and suggested selling prices on all work.
• Create master formulas and compounding instructions as needed.
• Prepare and revise product specification sheets.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers for first productions and troubleshooting.
• Organize guidelines and policies for outgoing samples and testing.
• Assist QC and Production in first-time production of new products.
