Job summary

e-STORAGE, a Canadian Solar unit, is hiring a Senior Performance Analyst to help deliver advanced battery energy storage solutions worldwide. You will report to the Senior Performance Engineering Manager in the Engineering department and contribute expertise to ensure high quality and sustainability in our projects.

You’ll support commissioning, monitoring, and diagnostics of Solbank BESS while analyzing data to spot trends and faults, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and improve

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Solid data analysis capabilities for performance trends.
• Familiarity with control and communication protocols used in energy storage.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, performance monitoring, and diagnostics of Solbank BESS.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies and faults.
• Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting under the Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and improve reliability.
• Maintain performance reports and diagnostic logs.

WhatYou’llBe Doing as aSenior PerformanceAnalyst

• Support the commissioning, performance monitoring, and operational diagnostics ofSolbankBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

• This role requires strong technicalexpertisein BESS systems, data analysis capabilities, and familiarity with control and communication protocols used in energy storage applications.

• Assistwith commissioning and troubleshooting ofSolbankBESS systems under the direction of the Performance Engineering Manager.

• Analyzeoperational and performance data toidentifytrends, system inefficiencies, and potential fault conditions.

• Support remote and on-site diagnostics of BESS faults, alarms, and performance deviations.

• Assistin capacity testing, data collection, and analysis.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain technical documentation including system performance reports and diagnostic logs.

• Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on system performance and reliability.

• Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with safety protocols, engineering standards, and company policies.

• Maintain and improve system reliability and performance.

• Team up with talented colleagues and partners to achieve project goals.
