WEG industrias de Venezuela, c.a. is looking for a Sr. Application Engineer to join our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) team in Duluth, Minnesota. This role involves leading technical support for pre-sales activities and developing proposals based on customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application engineering or related fields.
• Experience with grid interconnection studies, SCADA, and utility coordination.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes like UL, IEEE, NEC.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical support for battery energy storage projects.
• Develop system configurations and technical proposals.
• Perform system sizing and energy modeling.

Skills

Strong understanding of utility-scale BESS architecture

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
