WEG is looking for a Sr. Application Engineer to join their Battery Energy Storage Systems team in Barre Town, Vermont. You will be responsible for leading technical support in pre-sales activities, developing proposals, and optimizing energy solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in application engineering with a strong understanding of battery storage systems and excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively.

This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure project success and requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application engineering or battery storage.
• Strong understanding of grid interconnection studies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical support for pre-sales activities.
• Develop system configurations and technical proposals.
• Perform system sizing and energy modeling.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams.
• Support customer meetings and technical presentations.

Skills
