Job summary

RGA is seeking a Director of Investment Accounting in Bermuda to lead complex investment accounting, statutory reporting, and regulatory support. You will partner across Finance, Investments, Risk, and Legal to deliver accurate reporting and strong controls for Bermuda entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required, advanced degrees preferred.
• CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent professional designation required or strongly preferred.
• 8+ years in investment accounting, insurance/reinsurance accounting, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with Bermuda statutory reporting and US GAAP or equivalent bases is highly desirable.
• Experience leading cross-functional workstreams and audits is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bermuda investment accounting for statutory reporting and regulatory schedules.
• Direct month/quarter/year-end close with cross-entity coordination.
• Evaluate accounting impacts of complex investment structures and transactions.
• Serve as primary Bermuda contact for audits and regulators (BMA).
• Strengthen governance, data integrity, and control remediations.
• Partner with global teams to align data, processes, and reporting bases.
• Drive process improvement and scalable reporting capabilities.
