Job summary

SEIU seeks a Senior Benefits Manager to lead the organization’s benefits, leave administration, and wellness programs. Reporting to the Director of People, Talent and Human Resources, you will shape a comprehensive strategy, oversee operations, vendor relationships, compliance, and analytics to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Paylocity).
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state benefits regulations.
• Deep expertise in benefits administration, compliance, and vendor management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive employee well‑being strategy across physical, mental, financial health.
• Design and implement benefits programs aligned with SEIU values and workforce experience.
• Lead vendor relationships, audits, and open enrollment processes.
• Partner with leadership to ensure compliant, data‑driven program improvements.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees, promoting an inclusive work environment.
