Welch Packaging Group is seeking a Corporate Benefits Manager to lead the administration of health, retirement, leave, wellness programs and compliance across the organization. You will evaluate plans, manage open enrollment, and partner with vendors to deliver competitive, cost-effective benefits aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory issues impacting Benefits (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA).
• Experience with plan administration, testing, Form 5500, and retirement plan regulations.
• HR systems acumen and experience setting up tax jurisdictions for local taxes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage the company’s benefits programs (health, retirement, disability, life, and perks).
• Oversee open enrollment processes and communications.
• Collaborate with benefits vendors to ensure cost-effective offerings.
• Identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, IRS and related regulations.
