Job summary

KBR Careers is looking for a Principal Benefits Specialist to lead the design and administration of benefits programs. This role involves collaborating with HR and vendors to ensure compliance and enhance employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and over 7 years of experience in a complex organizational setting. A strong knowledge of health and welfare programs is essential, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

This position allows for hybrid and remote working options, supporting a balanced work-life environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in benefits or related function.
• Experience supporting benefits programs in a multinational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of benefits programs.
• Administer benefits operations including enrollments and renewals.
• Manage and coordinate with benefits vendors.
• Analyze benefits data to identify insights and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership.

Skills

Strong knowledge of health & welfare and/or retirement benefit programs

Understanding of benefits laws and regulatory requirements

Strong analytical skills

Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration platforms

Advanced proficiency in Excel

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

7+ years of experience in benefits or Total Rewards

Tools
