Job summary

Confidential Company, a well-established investment management firm, seeks a Senior Benefits Professional to own health, welfare, and retirement programs within its HR team in New York. You will partner closely with employees, vendors, and leadership to administer benefits and ensure program excellence.

You will manage enrollments, annual open enrollment, and vendor relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of health & welfare benefits, retirement plans, and compliance.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators, brokers, and insurance carriers.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee enrollments, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with benefits vendors, brokers, third-party administrators, and retirement plan providers.
  • Monitor benefit plan performance, review reports, and assist with ongoing plan administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Form 5500, and related benefits regulations.
  • Maintain benefit plan documentation and employee communications.
  • Prepare reports, analyze benefits data, and support budgeting and renewal activities.
  • Respond to employee questions and provide a high level of customer service regarding benefits programs.

Compensations
  • $100,000-$140,000 base + bonus/equity, based on experience
