Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Sr. Benefits Specialist to lead benefit administration for all employees. You will manage medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life, COBRA, and voluntary plans, ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, and related regulations.

You will partner with Payroll, administer enrollment events, respond to staff and vendor inquiries, and maintain complete benefit records with a focus on accuracy and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in employee benefits administration.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary benefits contact to executive leadership for benefit matters.
• Coach the benefits team and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance for new and existing benefit programs (ERISA, ACA, IRS, FLSA, COVID rules).
• Maintain benefit plan documents and summary descriptions.
• Oversee COBRA processing and enrollment records with an external vendor.
• Assist employees and providers with eligibility, claims, and vendor communications.
• Coordinate benefits activities such as fairs, open enrollment and new hire orientation.
