Job summary

NFP is seeking a Senior Consultant to partner with clients and carriers, leading the design and management of employer-sponsored benefits programs. You will analyze plans, provide strategic direction, and coordinate open enrollment while supervising junior staff when needed.

The role emphasizes client advisory excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced environment, based in Charlotte, NC with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• 8+ years health and welfare consulting experience
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
• GBA or CEBS Certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement client strategic plans and deliverables.
• Negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing with carriers.
• Act as subject matter authority on Health & Welfare benefits.
• Maintain project plans and supervise junior staff as needed.
• Ensure timely entry of client data into CRM (Salesforce).
