Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Senior Behavioral Scientist to serve as a technical expert and strategic partner, translating behavioral science research into actionable policies and programs for federal clients from our Salt Lake City office. You will lead data-driven initiatives, collaborate with senior leaders and technical teams, and ensure timely, high-impact deliverables aligned with program milestones.

This senior, client-facing role requires deep expertise in behavioral economics and study

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in a relevant field.
• 7–10+ years applying behavioral science in government or policy settings.
• Formal training in experimental design and statistics.
• Proven success delivering behavioral interventions.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain Federal Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior government stakeholders to translate needs into data strategies.
• Mentor junior researchers and guide cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deploy data-driven solutions.
• Present findings to executive leadership and shape policy design.
• Identify frictions and biases affecting performance and outcomes.
• Evaluate interventions and translate results into actionable recommendations.
