Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix seeks a Behavioral Health Tech III to provide physical and psychological care for patients under Court Ordered Evaluation or Treatment. You will work on inpatient units across Maryvale, Phoenix, and Mesa, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

As a BHT III, you will model clinical skills for peers, assist the Charge Nurse on the unit, and contribute to quality initiatives that improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to provide behavioral health services to adults including seniors and those with co-occurring disorders.
• Basic computer word processing skills to navigate EMR systems.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and psychological care for patients under Court Ordered Evaluation or Treatment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team and families to promote quality care and outcomes.
• Serve as a role model and support the Charge Nurse on the unit to promote workflow improvements.

High School Diploma or GED + 3 years BH experience
