Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral or mental health or closely related field is required.
• Master's degree in behavioral or mental health where required by state for licensed clinicians.
• Four or more years’ experience working with the population of the facility required.
• One or more years’ supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain administrative and clinical operations to provide quality patient care.
• Plan and implement program goals, resources and equipment; set timetables and outcomes.
• Oversee program budget and staff; direct counselors and clinical staff.
• Create procedures to ensure efficient operations, scheduling, billing, and records.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training and performance.
• Manage an assigned caseload and monitor staffing levels to ensure timely care.
• Develop treatment plans and maintain charts and records.
• Consult with staff on regulations, standards, and care policies.
• Assist in policy development and ensure compliance with safety and infection control.
• Provide outreach services as needed.
• Maintain a positive, empathetic professional attitude; address complaints and patient safety.
