Job summary

Adelante Healthcare in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Specialty Behavioral Health Manager to lead the Specialty Behavioral Health Program. You will supervise, recruit, train, and develop the Behavioral Health Team to deliver integrated care across clinics.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, knowledge of CMS/AHCCCS guidelines, supervisory credentials, and ability to collaborate with primary care teams to improve patient outcomes. This position is on-site with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health with three years of related experience.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Certification or eligibility as LCSW/LPC/Psy.D./Ph.D. is required.
• Leadership/Management experience preferred.
• Holds active Supervision Certificate and AZBBHE approved supervisor status.
• Knowledge of CMS/AHCCCS guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to the specialty behavioral health team.
• Active clinical member of Behavioral Health and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Maintain credentials and privileging as an active Behavioral Health Provider.
• Ensure integration of specialty behavioral health care with primary care.
• Supervise behavioral health staff hours for licensure.
• Share and implement best practices for primary care–behavioral health integration.
• Ensure compliance with state and behavioral health plan requirements.
• Support development and delivery of training activities for specialty behavioral health.
• Collaborate with quality, population health, and clinic operations to report program data.
