Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide leadership and direct clinical support in the emergency department and inpatient units. You will guide staff, assist with assessments, and coordinate discharge planning to optimize recovery outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with psychiatrists and APRNs within the medical model, adherence to regulatory standards, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Shift hours are 7a–7p.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related mental health discipline.
• Three years of post-master's experience in the mental health field.
• Licensed as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides consultation, guidance and leadership to patients and staff in the emergency departments.
• Provides consultation to inpatient patients as referred for evaluation and placement of care recommendations.
• Assist in diagnosis, 1013/2013 assessment and ongoing management, risk assessments and placement of patients in the emergency department and inpatient floors.
• Ensures assigned behavioral health patients have adequate discharge plans for care.
• Support psychiatrists and advanced practice nurses in their role within the medical model.
• Participates in quality improvement by identifying issues and collecting data.
• Provides in-services, workshops and educational services to non-BH staff.
• Maintains working knowledge of regulatory requirements and changes in Georgia expectations.
• Assumes leadership role in a crisis.
• Regularly performs duties of the BHS Clinician III
• Completes clinical documentation to meet standards of care.
