Job summary

Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide routine patient care in a 20-bed senior unit. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patients, and supporting a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays, with a pay range of $18.00 - $23.50 per hour. Minimum age 16 and CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and direct patient care and supports routine duties in accordance with policies.
• Responds to patient call lights and assists with care needs and tasks.
• Assists with ambulation, bathing, meal delivery, and other routine care as directed.
