Job summary

Center for Applied Behavior Analysis, LLC (CABA) in California is seeking a Senior Behavior Technician to work across our SPS and day program service lines with real clinical exposure and room to grow, without being pushed into a management track you didn’t ask for.

You’ll mentor junior staff, support BCBAs with assessments and data graphs, and ensure treatment fidelity while modeling the clinical and professional standards CABA is known for.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active RBT certification required; CPI/CPR preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with individuals with severe challenging behavior.
• Experience with adults/adolescents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses.
• CPR and CPI certification required; we’ll support you in getting certified.
• Valid California driver’s license, registration, and proof of insurance.
• Must pass TB clearance and FBI/DOJ background check.
• Three professional and two personal references.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support across CABA service lines, including Specialized Behavior Services and Adaptive Skills Program.
• Mentor, train, and support BTs and junior clinical staff.
• Observe sessions, assess performance, and give real feedback that makes people better.
• Support BCBAs with assessments, data graphing, report writing, and client intake.
• Collect treatment fidelity and interobserver data.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical leadership and frontline staff.
• Conduct RBT evaluations and ongoing training.
• Write incident reports and progress notes per CABA standards.
• Model the clinical and professional standards CABA is known for.
