Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Sr. Business Development Manager, Corporate Training Solutions. This home-based role leads a four-person team to accelerate growth in CPR, First Aid, AED, and workplace safety training offerings, while nurturing executive relationships and strategic partnerships.

You will drive revenue, develop talent, and partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to expand market reach and recurring revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of business development or enterprise sales experience.
• Experience leading teams and developing talent.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and executive relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel 70–80% to partner sites and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of four Business Development Managers, driving performance and growth.
• Act as a player-coach by managing key enterprise accounts and contributing to revenue goals.
• Identify, pursue, and close new corporate partnerships for CPR, First Aid, AED, and safety training programs.
• Build relationships with executives across HR, Learning & Development, Safety, Risk Management, and Operations.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and customer retention.
• Manage pipeline health, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
