Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an RF/BAW design engineer to contribute to state-of-the-art bulk acoustic wave devices used in Defense, Aerospace, Satcom and Wireless infrastructure. You will define products, run simulations, and help bring designs to manufacturing.

The role includes ladder filters, CRF, and hybrid filters, with hands-on layout, photomask generation, and device testing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in EE/Physics with RF focus preferred or BS with 3–5+ years design exp.
• Experience with schematic design, RF/EM simulation, and layout preferred.
• 3+ years direct acoustic design experience (BAW/SAW) preferred.
• Knowledge of AWR/Microwave Office and HFSS tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design BAW devices using ladder filters, CRF, and hybrid filters.
• Perform acoustic and EM simulations with internal and external tools.
• Layout devices and generate photomask sets.
• Characterize devices with RF/microwave test equipment.
• Collaborate in a team to contribute RF skills to module designs.
• Improve design flow, cycle time, and schedules.
