Job summary

KBR, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Battlespace Awareness (BSA) Operator to provide expert space-domain awareness and mission protection in a 24/7 environment, leading a shift during high-impact events on a government facility.

The role requires advanced event characterization, risk assessment, and coordination across mission partners. You will mentor junior operators, develop and refine TTPs, and integrate new SDA capabilities while delivering timely, executive-level briefings

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or no degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
Experience leading or coordinating operations in a watch floor/operations center environment.
Expertise in space domain awareness and mission protection for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead BSA operations during shift and high-impact events; set priorities and assign tasks.
Direct event characterization and I&W assessments; provide high-confidence COA recommendations.
Oversee RSO custody and database integrity for high-interest objects; document judgments.
Coordinate deconfliction across centers and mission partners; maintain shared situational awareness.
Deliver executive briefings and written products; ensure correct classification and timeliness.
Develop and refine checklists, thresholds, and TTPs from lessons learned.
Lead training and mentoring for operators; conduct QA reviews and feedback.
Support integration of SDA capabilities by defining acceptance criteria and testing.
