Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or design of battery/energy-storage hardware.
• Experience bringing battery packs from design to production.
• Ability to deliver hardware in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with hardware manufacturing via cell/module assembly, welding, machining, soldering, etc.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment for battery packs and high-voltage systems.
• Design and optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, safety, and scalability.
• Provide DFM feedback to design teams for manufacturability of cells and packs.
• Create and review process maps and work instructions for battery assembly and test.
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and raise productivity.
• Oversee manufacturing projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ramp up production for new products.
• Mentor junior engineers and manufacturing staff.
