Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related discipline required.
• 7+ years of experience in battery systems engineering with energy storage focus.
• Strong knowledge of battery chemistries (Li-ion, flow batteries) and BMS/EMS/PCS.
• Experience with grid integration, safety standards, and power system studies.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and data analysis; ability to interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of integrated BESS architectures and integration strategies.
• Analyze battery performance including SoC, SoH, and thermal management.
• Develop and implement control algorithms for BMS and EMS.
• Oversee testing and validation to meet performance and safety specs.
• Collaborate with power electronics, software, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on battery chemistries and grid standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards for high-voltage systems.
• Prepare technical docs, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical growth.
