Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Supplier Development Engineer for the Starlink team, located in Redmond, Washington. This role focuses on the manufacturing of battery technology and scaling production to meet the demands of the Starlink program.

The ideal candidate will drive improvements in cost and quality, manage supplier relationships, and lead new product introductions. A degree in engineering and extensive experience in related fields are required, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, supplier development, or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Primary technical contact for engineering components and quality issues.
• Drive quality and cost improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers for expanded capabilities.
• Own New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
