Jobtailor is seeking a technically skilled engineer to lead advanced battery structures and integration efforts within the engineering team. You will guide module design through ATW phases and align with system requirements while coordinating with cross-functional groups.

The role demands hands‑on problem solving, strong communication, and experience managing multiple simultaneous projects with suppliers, ensuring timely launches and robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 5+ years engineering experience.
• 2+ years in battery or propulsion engineering.
• Ability to lead complex technical projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with supplier engagement.
• Experience launching vehicle programs to SORP.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with structural CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced technical work focusing on battery structures and cell integration.
• Develop designs through advanced technology work (ATW).
• Lead creation and development of Battery Module designs through the ATW Phase.
• Understand module design solutions and trade-offs with Battery Requirements and Propulsion System Requirements.
• Be the project technical lead for advanced battery/propulsion structures.
