Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Basic Sciences Division faculty leader at the level of Associate or Full Professor to accelerate discoveries in fundamental biology related to cancer and disease. Candidates should pursue mechanistic questions across priority areas and may receive an endowed chair, startup funds, and collaboration support.

The appointment will be at Fred Hutch with potential adjunct ties to UW; on-site work is expected in Seattle, with a collaborative, inclusive

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Experience as independent research investigator.
• Proven track record of securing research funding.
• Ability to lead an innovative research group.
