Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a visionary Associate/Full Professor to advance fundamental biology with relevance to cancer and other diseases. The role includes an endowed chair and support for collaborations, with primary appointment in the Basic Sciences Division in Seattle.

The successful candidate will have a PhD, MD or MD/PhD, an independent research track record, and the ability to secure funding; relocation and sign-on options are noted. On-site work is emphasized.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent).
• Independent research investigator with a track record in obtaining funding and leading a research group.

Responsibilities

• Lead an innovative, mechanistic basic science research program.
• Secure and manage funding to sustain a productive research group.
